60th Edition

Trofeo Laigueglia celebrates its 60th edition.

It does so in grand style, on Wednesday 1 March 2023, with more than 10 World Tour teams at the start and top international participation.

In an increasingly globalized cycling world, the Baia del Sole once again hosts one of the most eagerly awaited events of the spring, with the world’s strongest champions trying to write their names on the Muretto dei Ciclisti, that characteristic space, just a few steps away from the Rampart, that bears the signatures of all the great riders who have left their mark here.

At the start of the Trofeo Laigueglia the strongest squads will be lined up, with established champions and the up-and-coming athletes.

Start and finish at Laigueglia, with a course of around 200 km that will light up halfway through the race, past the Paravenna and Testico mountain sprints, when the athletes will return to the Aurelia and will enter the final circuit – with some 44 km to go. There, the racecourse will take the riders up the Colla Micheri and Capo Mele climbs four times.

Who will make the difference? Who will set the best time on the Colla Micheri climb? The champions in professional cycling are ready to fight on a familiar climb to all cycling fans.

Amateur riders and cycle-tourists, starting on 2 March, will look forward to checking their performance with cycle computers and compare themselves with the strongest professionals in international cycling.
